Do Division

Do Division, a neighborhood festival that attracted over 60,000 people in 2010, has partnered with Friends of Pritzker School and LaSalle II PTO to create Do Division Family Fun Fest. Do Division Family Fun Fest, June 4-5 from noon to 6pm, will add a special family flavor to the Do Division weekend. Joining the music, food and art vendors will be lots of activities for the family.

This year the Family Fun Fest has expanded to two blocks on Hoyne between Division and Potomac. Also new this year, come and learn about bees. We’ll have fun bee facts throughout the event and a Christy Webber Bee Hive tent where you learn how you can help save bees – a crucial part of our food cycle – while planting flowers for them to pollinate with Grow Modern Kids. Plus answer questions about bees and win a prize from Building Blocks. Also new is the Cat n Mouse Game Store’s Game tent including a yo-yo demonstration on Saturday. And the Building Blocks famous Carnival Wheel with fabulous prizes.We’re bringing back many of the popular activities including The Easel Art Studio Craft Tent, punk rock hair styling by Psycho Baby with nail polishes by Juko nails, face painting, cookie decorating, the Children’s Learning Place Toddler Zone, a bounce house, and pony rides. Plus boogie on down at the main stage.

Proceeds from Do Division Family Fun Fest go to Friends of Pritzker School and LaSalle II PTO, two public elementary schools in Wicker Park.
